The DE-REX powertrain concept was presented at the “Dritev – Drivetrains for Vehicles 2018” conference on 27 and 28 June 2018 at the World Conference Center in Bonn. For this purpose, the demonstrator vehicle was presented to a broad specialist audience in the conference's vehicle exhibition area. In addition, the basic ideas, the potentials, and the DE-REX project were presented to the visitors at an exhibition booth. The DE-REX presence was further enhanced by a technical presentation on the investigation of gear shifts with dog clutches in the DE-REX test vehicle.
